Partick Thistle 0 – 1 Dundee

Dundee controversially went down to their fourth successive home defeat at Dens today, in a game that hinged on two decisions by referee Steven McLean, who mistakenly red carded Rab Douglas after 24 minutes, then just after half time failed to send off Chris Erskine for a dangerous challenge with his elbow on Neil McGregor.
Dundee fought out a hard, but frustrating 1-1 draw in the top of the table clash at a freezing Victoria Park in Dingwall. They led for over an hour after Steven Milne gave them a deserved first half lead, but ex-Dee Colin McMenamin saved a point for County with an 81st minute equaliser.
Dundee played their first Scottish Cup tie before Hogmanay since 1894, and happily they will still be in the cup when the New Year arrives. Goals from Ryan Conroy and Steven Milne allowed the Dee to see off a spritely challenge from Jocky Scott's Stirling Albion at the Doubletree Dunblane Stadium after falling behind to Darren Smith's goal.
