      Dundee 1 - 1 Ross County

      Dundee's poor run of form continued as they drew 1-1 against Ross County at Dens Park today. The Dark Blues should have won comfortably, but threw away two points against a side who had to play nearly the whole match with 10 men. Jim McAlister put the Dee ahead early in the second half, only for Craig Curran to equalise on his debut.

      Aberdeen 3 - 3 Dundee

      Dundee had to settle for a point after Aberdeen came from two goals down to grab a late point in a thrilling 3-3 draw at Pittodrie this afternoon. David Goodwillie gave the Dons an early lead. The Dee fought back to lead 2-1 at the break with goals from Gary Irvine and Greg Stewart. Gary Harkins made it three early in the second half, but a Hayes penalty after 87 minutes and a Ryan Jack goal in injury time squared the match.

      Dundee 2 - 0 Manchester City

      Dundee's pre-season campaign got off to an enjoyable start at a sunny Dens Park as the Dark Blues earned an eye-catching 2-0 win over English Premier League champions Manchester City. First half goals from Gary Harkins and trialist Luka Tankulic won Dundee the Angus Trophy Centre Cup. City made nine changes at half time, but their second half team couldn't pull the Dee back.

      Brechin City 0 - 0 Dundee

      Dundee had to settle for a goalless draw in tonight's friendly at Brechin, where the local City were a tougher nut to crack than their more illustrious namesakes from Manchester. Both sides worked hard, but were guilty of wasteful finishing. The Dark Blues had most of the play and exerted greater pressure, but only a great save from new keeper Grant Adam stopped Brechin's Ryan Ferguson grabbing a winner right at the end.

      Morecambe 2 - 4 Dundee

      The Dee pleased their large and noisy support with an entertaining 4-2 win over Morecambe at the Globe Arena this afternoon. After conceding an early goal to Padraig Amond the Dee responded with goals by Kieron Cadogan and Gary Harkins to take a 2-1 lead into the second half. Kyle Letheren, James McPake and Willie Dyer were the only players to play the whole game.

      Dundee 3 - 0 Hearts

      Dundee delighted their supporters with an excellent 3-0 win over Hearts in tonight's friendly at Dens Park. The scoreline reflected the Dark Blues' superiority all over the field and throughout the 90 minutes in spite of eight substitutions. Gary Harkins put the Dee ahead from the penalty spot. However, new signing Luka Tankulic will grab the headlines with two superb goals after coming on at half time.

      Dundee 4 - 0 Peterhead (Communities League Cup)

      Dundee safely made their way through to the second round of the Communities League Cup with a comfortable 4-0 win over Peterhead at Dens Park. Simon Ferry and Greg Stewart put the Dee 2-0 up half time, with Peter MacDonald and Luka Tankulic completing the scoring in the second half. The Dark Blues were in charge throughout and pleased the home fans with their attractive passing game.

      Dundee 1 - 1 Partick Thistle

      A 53rd minute goal by Craig Wighton gave Dundee a 1-1 draw against Partick Thistle at Dens this afternoon. The Jags had been the better side in the first half, and deservedly led through Gary Fraser's fine strike. The Dark Blues dominated after the break and should have killed off 10 man Thistle. Gary Harkins missed a penalty after Jags' keeper Scott Fox had been sent off for violent conduct in the rammy following the penalty award.

      St Mirren 0 - 1 Dundee

      Dundee grabbed their crucial first league victory of the season with a 1-0 win at St Mirren Park. A tight and hard fought match could have gone either way, but the Dark Blues overcame injury problems to grind out the win. A superbly taken 79th minute goal from substitute Peter MacDonald sealed the points in front of more than a thousand travelling Dees.

      Dundee 4 - 0 Raith Rovers

      Dundee eased through to the third round of the Scottish Communities League Cup with a straightforward 4-0 win over Raith Rovers at Dens Park. Greg Stewart and Paul McGinn scored in the first half. Peter MacDonald and Martin Boyle completed the scoring after half time. The Dark Blues dominated an open game and should have added more goals. However, the fans won't be complaining about the quality of the entertainment on offer.

      St Johnstone 0 - 1 Dundee

      Dundee delighted the supporters with a superb victory at McDiarmid Park this afternoon. The score might only have been 1-0, but the Dark Blues dominated St Johnstone throughout the whole match and thoroughly deserved all the points. Thomas Konrad scored the only goal midway through the first half. The Dark Blues superiority should really have brought more goals, but no-one will be complaining after a performance like this.

      Dundee 2 - 3 Aberdeen

      Dundee went down to a disappointing 3-2 defeat at home to Aberdeen at Dens today. The Dark Blues played well, but poor defending cost them a point. The Dons took the lead three times through Considine, a McPake own goal and Goodwillie. Dundee pulled themslves back into the match twice with goals from Gary Harkins and a David Clarkson penalty, but couldn't get the final equaliser that their good football deserved.
