      Motherwell 1 - 3 Dundee

Dundee got back on the rails with an emphatic 3-1 win at Motherwell this afternoon. The Dark Blues were excellent value for their three points and could have won by a bigger margin. David Clarkson and Gary Harkins put the Dee two up before the break. Greg Stewart made it three early in the second half. Henrik Ojamaa pulled a goal back but Well never looked like saving the match and Dundee were convincing winners.

      Dundee 1 - 1 St Johnstone

Dundee's winning run came to an end with a 1-1 draw at Dens Park against St Johnstone this afternoon. In a match marred by controversy the Dee took the lead with a David Clarkson goal shortly before the break. Saints equalised with a Brian Graham penalty early in the second half.

      Celtic 2 - 1 Dundee

Dundee's unbeaten run came to an end with a 2-1 defeat at Celtic Park this afternoon. Anthony Stokes and John Guidetti scored on either side of half time before David Clarkson pulled a goal back for the Dee, making him the first Dundee player to score in seven consecutive games since Alan Gilzean, 50 years ago. The Dark Blues may have lost, but they impressed as they made Celtic fight every inch of the way; the result was in doubt until the final whistle.

      Dundee 2 - 1 Aberdeen (Scottish Cup)

Dundee won their place in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup after an amazing climax to their 2-1 victory over Aberdeen at Dens. Thomas Konrad gave the Dark Blues an early lead, before he conceded an unfortunate own goal equaliser. The tie seemed sure to be heading for a replay, but goal hero David Clarkson grabbed the winner as the match ticked over into injury time. The Dee still needed Scott Bain to clinch the win. The former Dons' keeper turned Niall McGinn's blistering shot onto the underside of the bar; the ball bounced onto the line and the Dee were through.

      Hamilton Accies 2 - 1 Dundee

Dundee went down 2-1 to Hamilton Accies at New Douglas Park this afternoon, their third consecutive league defeat by that score. The damage was done with early Hamilton goals from Andreu and Antoine-Curier. Substitute Greg Stewart pulled a goal back in an improved second half performance but Accies held on for a deserved win.

      Partick Thistle 1 - 1 Dundee

Dundee ended their run of three league defeats with a 1-1 draw against Partick Thistle at Firhill. James Craigen put the Jags ahead early in the second half. The Dark Blues grabbed an equaliser after 89 minutes that Philip Roberts might try to claim but which will be recorded as a Balatoni own goal. The Dee were still some way short of their best and are unquestionably the happier club with a point.

    • Match Reports 2014

      Dundee 1 - 3 St Mirren

Dundee gifted St Mirren three easy points with a sloppy and error ridden performance at Dens Park today. The struggling Buddies must have been delighted with the unexpected Christmas genorisity of their hosts. Well taken, but very preventable goals by Kenny McLean and Stephen Mallan put St Mirren two up. A late penalty by McLean made it three, before Gary Irvine scored a late consolation.

      Dundee United 6 - 2 Dundee

Dundee's 2015 got off to a terrible start with a defensive horror show in the New Year's Day derby at Tannadice. The Dark Blues went down 6-2, with Armstrong, Mackay-Steven (twice), Erskine, Fojut and Telfer scoring for United. Greg Stewart and Luka Tankulic were the Dee's scorers on a day which started badly and only got worse.

    • Match Reports 2014

      Dundee 4 - 1 Motherwell

Dundee got back on track with an emphatic 4-1 win at Dens Park over Motherwell that was every bit as comfortable as the scoreline suggests. Early goals from Alex Harris and Greg Stewart set the Dark Blues on their way. John Sutton pulled a goal back for Well before Gary Irvine gave the Dee a deserved 3-1 half time lead. Dundee dominated the second half and added a fourth, an own goal by Marc O'Brien. A red card for Henrik Ojamaa shortly before half time compounded Motherwell's miserable afternoon.

      St Mirren 1 - 2 Dundee

Dundee's good run continued as they came from behind to beat St Mirren 2-1 in Paisley this afternoon. Goals from deadly poacher Gary Irvine and Iain Davidson put the Dee ahead and they seldom looked in trouble as they saw out the win confidently.

    • Match Reports 2014

      Motherwell 0 - 1 Dundee

Dundee made it eight games undefeated with a straightforward win at Fir Park this afternoon. The only goal of the game might have been a freakish effort by Paul McGinn, but the Dark Blues were on top throughout and Scott Bain didn't have a save to make.
