TheDarkBlues Posted 21 September 2017 Report Share Posted 21 September 2017 A lot of debate over this on Twitter right now about the Sinclair penalty incident and a lot of people not suggesting that Sinclair should be banned for simulation for that penalty. When I first saw it, I was 100% that is was a penalty, but now after watching a close-up of the replay.... I am not so sure! So was it or was it not in your opinion? Hit the Poll! WeighorstsWang Posted 21 September 2017 Report Share Posted 21 September 2017 Penalty for me. I would also be booking Sinclair for the swandive though. Embarrassing.
Wattie Rojas Posted 21 September 2017 Report Share Posted 21 September 2017 The contact wasn't enough to bring him down and that's why he dived. No penalty.
charliedee Posted 21 September 2017 Report Share Posted 21 September 2017 At real time yes... watching it back no...he sticks his leg into hendrie who made no attempt to tackle him...can see why the ref bought it though.
CW 90+3 02/05/16 Posted 21 September 2017 Report Share Posted 21 September 2017 Only seen the incident once at the actual game. Dont need to see any clips or replays. Had a perfect view from the Main Stand. 100 percent disgusting cheating dive. No challenge was made. He saw Hendry glanced off his leg and dived. Can see why the ref gave it as he ran in at some pace but he has conned the ref and everyone in the stadium with that. They'd have beaten us anyway so no idea why they've got to resort to that nonsense. A sad part of the game.
Dariusz Dee Posted 21 September 2017 Report Share Posted 21 September 2017 Hendry has to try get out of the way to avoid contact. When a player has been allowed to run at that pace any contact will bring him down. Penalty all day long for me.
Cobra Posted 21 September 2017 Report Share Posted 21 September 2017 Hendry has failed to get a touch on the ball and made contact with the player so it's a penalty for me. Sinclair has exaggerated the contact to ensure he gets the decision but that's part of the modern game. If we had video technology I think the decision would have been the same. charliedee Posted 21 September 2017 Report Share Posted 21 September 2017 Imo the contact came because Sinclair put his leg into hendrie...hendrie didn't move...it's like when a forward rounds the keeper then sticks his leg into the keeper then dives...everytime it results in a penalty..it annoys me. Blue4evr Posted 21 September 2017 Report Share Posted 21 September 2017 Vardy has gained 90% of his pens this way and still gets away with it.

Yup it was him I was thinking about v arsenal last season I think...he ran at the defender defender didn't move nor attempt to tackle he knocked the ball past the defender then stuck his leg into him..then dives ...penalty given when no foul had been committed. Ivan Drago Posted 21 September 2017 Report Share Posted 21 September 2017 No penalty for me. Roaries v Hibs turned out to be soft and this was softer. Beaton literally could not wait to give it though
Wattie Rojas Posted 21 September 2017 Report Share Posted 21 September 2017 We got away with a couple of decisions vs saints imo but the ref got this one wrong. Softer than a day old baby's sh**e
