I see they have Davidson and Kane amongst others missing for this game.

Exactly the team I would go with.

Which on previous experience means it has got no chance of happening.

The reason Motherwell are so successful playing 3 at the back tactically is that they play an orthodox 3-5-2 with a straight midfield five and support the second ball early-we play with Gowser off the front which sometimes results in us being caught with breakaways etc. Also their wing backs almost never get ahead of the ball and keep the play on front of them, again another reason we get caught as our wing backs push on (Deacon for eg) and are nowhere to be seen defensively when we lose possession. That team would be fine but for me with Gowser in a central midfield position. I really think however that CW33 needs to find a berth now as he is looking good and we need his creativity. I missed the last two games as I was on holiday but I believe we started at Celtic Park as above and were much more solid and difficult to beat. Easy game from the stand though.

Take out OHara, move McGowan back one and put Wighton in the central attacking position and I think we can run over them.

Yep, probably go with that. The fact we're including/accepting O'Dea to start, shows how bad things are at the back.

Expect an improvement on last time out. Score: 1 - 1

Mr Wright says Murray Davidson is very unlucky to be serving a second suspension for undeserved yellow cards. I wonder how many of the 17 he's referring to.

Week in week out Moussa gets both barrels for being sh!te, myself included, yet most people have him in the team before a ball is kicked?

It’s up to the manager to find a system that works without his inclusion in the starting line up.

Sounds like a pretty horrible way to get 3 points, that's what you call taking one for the team. :jawdrop:

Want to see Wighton start behind the striker's, creating chances.Surely he's match fit now.

If he does start it has to be in place of either O'Hara or deacon imo

Regardless of the team put out on the day every man Jack must give 100% and play with the head as well as the heart.

Keep 11 men on the park and no defensive kamikaze defending.

Come on guys go and get us three points nearer safety.

Pity the club didn't offer a deal of £30 adults and £15 kids/concessions for the 3 home games to increase the crowds and get around having to offer the away fans reduced prices. Big noisy support could prove to be the difference in us staying up.

St Johnstone fans seem very confident they've got/are getting Mark O'Hara on a pre contract.

They are on the wind up I think. Trying to get a reaction after McGowan.

Have to win this. Davidson, Alston and Kane all out for them.

We had similar problems at the 0-4 game. Time for level things up.

Hopefully we start on the front foot and take the game to them, far to many times at dens we start slowly and get punished.

Probably p*ss about at the back, kid ourselves on that we’re playing great football, and lose to a scrappy goal.

I am honestly not at all sure, how Dundee players, will/should, approach this game.

A part of me says NM should pit a rocket up the players erses. And go right at them.

Surely players will not need any pep talk to realise...just how important this game is.

Maybe a controlled & calm, is the way to do it...Keep the heid lads. But give your all:chaplin:
