How To Put Someone On Ignore

Rate this question

I keep getting asked this quite a bit, so I thought I would do a quick tutorial on how members can put other members on ignore.

Please keep in mind that when you have members on ignore, there may be some cases where you will see their posts (Quotes), this is something which we are working on to fix.

So to use the ignore feature:

1. The first thing you need to do it log into your account.

2. Click on your name at the top right hand corner of the forum and from the Menu Item, select 'Ignored Users'.

3. On the next page, enter the member you wish to ignore. (Please not that members cannot ignore Admins or Moderators) and select which types of items you wish to ignore, the choices are Posts, Messages, Signatures or/and Mentions

Once you are finished, click on 'add user' and the selected member will now be ignored.

4.To stop ignoring a user, simply return to the 'Ignore Users' page, click the cog wheel next to the user ignore options and then select:

  • Change Ignored Content: this allows you to change the ignore content items for this users
  • Stop Ignoring user: or stop ignoring the selected user.
