Absolutely shocking performance. Kamara clearly not fit, McGowan exposed because of this and we gave away the midfield by playing 4-4-2.

To think some people in this thread wanted Kallman up top before Miller.

Totally dominated in both halves, Livis tactics, which are nothing new, caused havoc. Almost pished myself when Boyle got MoM, boy got roasted today.

Thankfully they went down to 10 men due to ODea playacting otherwise we were losing that game.

In my opinion Kamara is reluctant to get involved in case he picks up an injury which would greatly reduce his chances of signing for another club during the January transfer window. After all no club was interested in him during last summer.

At least it wasn't a loss at home today. Only 4 points behind Hamilton and we could still manager to pull this off but that depends on who McIntrye brings in over the winter break, hopefully it will be quality of quantity and the fans give the players a chance before we start booing and writing them off.

Hopefully we get the business done quickly and the new players get straight to training and we start of with a win against QOS.

We will need to either sign a proven goal scorer or the current forwards will need to get their shooting boots on as QOS score goals for fun.

It's not just about strengthening the team in January. JM has to do that and do better than St Mirren, Hamilton (and Motherwell), who will also be looking to do the same.

Wait and see how they get on without Harkins, might be a different story then.

Kenny Miller is 39 years old this week and cannot last for ever. He needs support. What happens if Kenny Miller gets injured. Who is going to score goals now that Moussa is out of favour and has been told to look for another club.

What's up with Woods?. O'Dea needing to rest his injury and Kusunga with a (long term?), hamstring problem. 3 of JM's first choice picks.

Not good. January cannot come quick enough.

Heard Woods has a virus.

It's hard not to think you're disappointed that we got a point today....a home defeat may perhaps have strengthened your "JM is Mixu" case.

Livi didn't dominate either half, nor did they cause havoc anywhere....they just played their usual away game, crowded our players in posession, chased every second ball, aimed plenty of high balls into our box, but created no clear scoring chances....only shot on target was straight at Hamilton.

We didn't play well, but created more opportunities to win the game....and ought to have, with a couple of them.

QOS had no problem scoring goals before Harkins arrived at Palmerston Park and I am sure that they will still have no trouble scoring goals post Gary Harkins.

Least of our worries is Qos to be fair

Ah okay, thanks.

Hopefully back in the squad for Saturday. Numbers are thin on the ground.

A lot of our supporters are pinning their hopes on a good cup run this season.

Really?

That was as bad as anything served up in the McCann era.

How many games this season under NM did we have  more than 15 attempts on goal, 5 of them on target and keep a clean sheet?

Just asking as I'm sure you'll be able to cement your position with the facts......or maybe your 🎣 again? 😂

Not this one, couldn’t give 2 phucks about the cup as we need to focus on the league

Livi only had one shot on target 😂 😂😂

Every corner, free kick and long throw that came in caused havoc. 3 or 4 times we let balls into the box bounce around instead of attacking it.

If you don’t think we were dominated in that match especially in the first half then 👍

What happens if the new signing gets injured?

A lot of if, buts and maybes.

Not the ideal result but after the last three games there were a few positives:

Clean sheet, 15 attempts on goal (thought the back four played pretty well), improved home record and a point made up on both our closest basket cases.

Yes there were a few hairy moments, but against a team who throw the ball into the box at every single opportunity there will always be a bit of uncertainty. Especially against a team as strong and physical as they are.

I thought we defended pretty damn well today to be fair and stood up to them

That is why we need strength in depth.

Mate, you were watching a totally different game to me. If every dead ball from the half way line, and nearer, gets either thrown or kicked into the box, you are going to have a few dodgy moments. The fact is they had one shot on target.

I don’t think we were dominated so👎

If you're saying that the Moose is our backup to Kenny Miller we're in more sh1t than I thought we were!

Six players needed

Centre half, a full back, wide left, two centre mids and a striker...

need far more depth in the squad

In my opinion we only have Kallman who is a young player as a backup to Kenny Miller. Who else is likely to score goals. It was also a problem last season but by good fortune we managed to stay up at the end of last season.

I would give Matt Henvey a game in the first team against QOS. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
