And this is exactly why Scottish football is where it is.

Without wanting to derail the topic too much .... Scottish football is where it is because we stopped doing what we were good at ie hard to beat and getting stuck in  and tried to copy the Dutch,Spanish way of playing

Whilst I absolutely understand why any poster could be less than ecstatic about the fact the new managers has only picked up 7 points and question if he was the best appointmentment I struggle with messaging that states things are worse than under NM. What fact based argument is there for this as I've not read one?

I was a supporter of what NM wanted to do and enjoyed the moments when it worked but it became abundantly clear that we were shopping in places where the goods didn't match the menu the manager wanted to serve up and ultimately we were heading for failure and relegation.

Players who looked like rabbits in headlights are without question improved under JM - Kerr, Nathan, Hamilton, Kusunga, Kenny M, Curran as starters for ten.

Today we had 15 attempts on goal, many due to early balls into the box, whilst pretty triangles at the back are maybe good football I'm still a supporter who likes to see goalmouth action at the right end of the pitch.

No one is saying we are worse that I can see? For me today though was as bad as I’ve saw under McCann.

And we can have 100 shots on goal, we never looked liked scoring.

Livingston manager Gary Holt: "I'm delighted with the point considering we were down to 10 men but I don't think we were hanging on. I think we were coping well with their balls into the box.

"Dundee are fighting for their lives, scrapping for every ball and to a man were excellent, but we stood up to it and battled tremendously well."

Rivers you better get Gary telt!

Read WWs post which I think you "liked". Clearly says we are worse.

How did we never look like scoring? KM should have buried one, Ralph hit the bar and JC (that's Jesse Curran, not the other JC) should have scored as well.

Unlike you, I thought there were positives from today.

Genuine question yes or no

Was that today worse than the 0-1 and 0-3 to Championship clubs early in the season.

Or the 1-4 or 0-4 from County and St J

I can’t answer for WW but I listened to it believing he meant the way we play is worse. WW prefers the tippy tappy football instead of now were it just gets launched.

Lost me with that one 🤔

Always play two up top at home

Getting back to today, do you still think that performance today was as bad as anything served up under Neil McCann?

Just thinking of the utter shambles of 1-4 to Ross County.

Think Rivers was in the house today watching Jeff and the boys with his Livi scarf on if he thought that performance was as bad as anything we had to endure under McCann...

Nurse 😂

I wasn't there today - and I won't be on Saturday but what I will say is.. from what I have seen since he arrived, we run about a bit more but the standard of football is every bit as bad as it was before. I'd actually say it was worse, nobody looks even remotely comfortable on the ball now. It's all about being direct and getting it as far away from our own goal as often as possible.

Think you are way off the mark here.  The St Mirren game at Dens was the match things started to improve …. overall we have been better since the ko that afternoon at Dens and although the squad is weak JM has at least got us slightly better organised and slowly picking up points.
