Dundee make signing number 5 of the window!

21 year old forward Andrew Nelson joins for an undiscolsed fee, from Sunderland. Nelson impressed on loan at Falkirk last season and spent a brief few weeks regaining fitness in December where he starred for Darlington.

Instinct is that this is a good addition and this boy will work out well for us. I think a permanent deal here makes a lot of sense in this instance given his age and he arrives knowing his future is sorted.

Maybe not the most ideal order of things with the game on Saturday but I think that's the attack sorted now, four options that are all a bit different in their own way. I still think we'll get another four or five in and it's a good effort so far when I think you consider the slow pace of January and realise we're ahead of any in the league (and I think St Mirren have had a horrific loss with Adam Hammil going tbh - he's contributed in a huge proportion of their goals!).

Hope you're  right wrt to more signings. I would have thought  defence and midfield was the first priority   but maybe  just the way  things have panned out.
