We were playing ICT on a  (mostly) sunny Saturday afternoon; crowd was always going to be sub 5,000.

Tuesday didn't help though.

Still convinced the "official" figures are dubious..

Yep, certainly looks more than what is being announced.

Even if dens is half full the crowd would be 5,700.

It wasn't close to being half full.

Crowd looked accurate to me.

At a guess 1400 Derry, 1800 cox, 1400 main stand 100plus away fans.

I thought 1450 Derry, 2000 Bobby cox, 1400 Main Stand and 250 Away fans.

Dreadful performance and crowd. Anybody who walked up and paid £22 to watch us play up to 35 yards from goal won't be parting with hard earned.

August and already people are bored of this

Sobering week for those who think we have a good squad.

If I didn't have my season ticket, I would be picking my games, you are meant, to come to games, to be

entertained, not this sideways/back pass, boredom and pish. And I agree, we DON'T have a good squad, just a

TOTALLY unbalanced and full of lightweights squad.

I thought that maybe 8 years or so ago, I'd look at the crowd and 'guess' how many, me and Mrs Root had it as a sort of competition. From one season to the next we seemed to be constantly over calling it, even when it looked the same as the year before. Now, I've got no idea any more.

Does the official crowd figure assume that all ST holders are there?

Crowd looked spot on today.

Derry nowhere near full.

Cox with hundreds and hundreds of empty seats that were full v Hearts.

Main Stand not overly busy.

Disappointing but entirely expected.

A half full stand always looks more than the actual figure. A stand 80% to 90% filled actually looks full. That is why clubs can sell to the full capacity on ticket games or where seat numbered tickets are sold but only to c. 90% patg because the final 10% can never find seats. From main stand the crowd looked well down on the previous 2 games and seemed accurate to me.

5400 v them at Dens in December last season

5123 v them at Dens in May last season and that was a meaningless game pre split

4767 yesterday

Not good at all in August 3 home games in.

Should stewards not help "customers" find a seat?  This 90% capacity doesnae wash with me - red tape gone mad.

Don't think we'll get to the stage where anybody actually struggles to find a seat.

Which is what the young lassie steward asked me when I went into the main stand yesterday. Very polite and with a smile. Exactly the opposite to what goes on in the South Enclosure it appears.

Why do they need to find a seat.

They have a season ticket.
