Up to 6 players out in the last couple of weeks (Roberts,Tankulic,Ferry,Kerr,Black,Carreiro) with 1 in. Can see us signing a decent striker now with the wages freed up. Hopefully the pay-off's don't weaken our hand too much.

Would like to see Dylan getting a game for us tbh..

He's looked good in his cameos..

Makes no sense to me, we have no one decent apart from him on the bench as it is.

PH is obviously trying to free up wages for someone else.

I would've thought ferry,Roberts and tanks free's up wages would've been more than enough for a striker, without having to put carriero out on loan?

I know but I would rather put someone else out on loan as Dylan is the only decent one on the bench. It's gonna leave us a bit light on options

I wouldn't mind him sticking about a bit longer. If the new arrivals give him little chance of playing at all, we can always try to shift him out for a few months. Like mentioned above, the timing suggests it's money but I'd hope we aren't that reliant on loaning players out to reduce the wage budget. If he were to be injured or anything, most loan deals would be terminated.

Arbroath fans seemed to have mixed views about him. Some rated him as one of their best ever footballers and some felt that he was a bit of a liability since his defensive play was poor. I reckon that he's got it in him to play at this level but needs to work on making himself a bit more adaptable. A team like Alloa with a manager like Danny Lennon would do him a lot of good.

If Dylan And ferry

go,then we will need at least another 2 in,just to make up the numbers.

The problem for the lad is if Thomson, Jules and Loy are fit shortly along with the lad from Villa and any new striker we get in today then our team and bench becomes much stronger and therefore his chance of any game time becomes more limited.

While he's needed right now that might not be the case come the international break ending so I think its worth puttting him out on loan to a 1st division or championship club but with a release clause if needed.

But the chances of Loy, Low n KT being fit for a few games on the bounce are low

Calvin Colqhoun is on his way back from injury so I'd imagine he'd take Carreiro's place in the squad.

I'd be happy enough with him being loaned out to a decent level, as long as there was a clause meaning we could call him back from his loan at any time to deal with any injuries. Think he's got the potential to be a very good player at this level.

I think Dylan is a much better prospect than Calvin right now and looks ready for the first team.

I think we should be keeping Dylan in the squad. Has the talent to do something different coming off the bench for the final 30 mins of a game?

He may well be but right now he is only seen as back-up, when everyone is fit I don't think he'll make the bench. Calvin will likely take his place in the squad and Carreiro's wages will help fund the signing of player(s) who can go right into the team.
