I'm sure I'm not the only one excited to see Villa's on-loan winger Ricky Calder in action at Firhill next weekend.

Just wondering who you consider the best Dundee winger from the last 25 years?

Joe McBride Cobra..

Scorer of the best ever goal I've seen at Dens.

Pretty hazy memories but sure it was against Greenock Morton.

Throw in from Beedie (I think) and volleyed over the keeper straight from the throw without the ball bouncing from 40 yards.

Has to be McCann :). But disappointed that Ivo wasn't included. :(

And I cannot wait to see Sneddees reaction when he sees that Nicky is not a choice. :)

Would have Anderson and Boyack on that list too - both excellent during our most succesfull league campaign since the 70s.

Really liked Boyack as a player

Strange how he fell away after leaving Hearts

What about Ian McCall, he was excellent for us in 91/92. Pity he couldn't differentiate between a shoe and a toilet bowl.

Close between McCann and Artero out of the 3.

Good choices, always thought Anderson should have gone on to bigger and better things.

Yeah, It did stink what he did to Stainrod, did he ever replace his shoe? :lol2:

You would have thought that Stainrod's fedora hat would have been a better choice and more suited? :chin: :slaphead:

He done well at Preston, ba hair from promotion to the EPL.

Think injuries took there toll on him in the end.

I am disappointed that the poll is only for the last 25 years.

We had far superior wingers in the 1960's namely Gordon Smith, Hugh Robertson and Billy Campbell.

Billy Campbell..... my first Dundee FC hero when i was a wee boy at Dens. He probably wasn't as good as I remember him to be but i like to think he was..
