Team: Gourlay, A. Black, Meggatt, Gadzhalov, Priest, Allan, Trialist, Curran, Carreiro, Colquhoun, Dryden.

Subs - Beattie, Waddell, Gibb, Berry, Warwick, J. Black

Can't imagine Gadz will be thrilled to be playing with the youngsters again if he's fully fit.

Couple of early chances for Falkirk. Gourlay makes a save before the Bairns hit the bar.

I see Josh Skelly isn't playing. I think he was injured last week. Pity, as he's the only forward on our books !!

Half-time Dundee 1-0 Falkirk

Scott Shepherd has scored the only goal of the game so far, racing through on goal to slot the ball past Gourlay.

Former Motherwell forward Bob McHugh has had chances but failed to take them.

Dundee have had three shots on target. Don't have the details as Falkirk Twitter are only describing their own team's chances.

Full-time 2-0 Falkirk. They had 15 shots to our 8. They scored twice and hit the woodwork, so probably a fair result.

Disappointing.. Looks like we started a decent team as well.

Goal threat disappeared along with Skelly?

Yeah. Strange that the club let Lee Cameron leave and didn't bother to bring in a replacement.

On profile page on Official we have lots of defenders and midfield yet only one forward. Very odd. Couldn't one of our new loan players have played or is that not allowed.

Poorest performance of the season so far. If it hadn't been for Gourlay the score could have been embarrassing. Gadzilla seemed to injure his shoulder again right at the end, but have to say I wasn't impressed with his performance.

Apart from Kyle, Calvin, Ben Priest and Andy Black did well, but generally, we were second best throughout.

Godzilla had a terrible game, for an experienced ch and senior player it really was a shocking performance. His slip cost the first goal but his lack off pace, general awareness and ball watching could have cost a hell off a lot more.

Would have been better with Godzooky at the back.

IMO Meggatt did ok. He used his height at defending corners and even added to the goal threat when we did occasionally win our own corners.
