The Deefiant season holds many memories for everyone associated with Dundee. From the workers behind the scenes right through to the players who often pulled on their boots to play while injured to keep this club alive, it was a season of togetherness that will more than likely never be matched.
One such tale involves a 30-year-old local lad who played for Lochee United, Craig Robertson.
We all know the story of how Robertson was given the opportunity to play for Dundee as a trialist and in his short time on the pitch, never looked out of place as he helped the club defy the odds to not only stave off relegation to the 2nd Division but also keep the doors to Dens Park open.
Craig’s story has been told by Grant Hill in the newest edition of Nutmeg magazine and also in the Guardian newspaper but now you can hear him talk about it as he joins Grant as a special guest on this weeks Walking Down The Provie Road Podcast.
