Ex Dee Martin Boyle opened the score in the first minute. Boyle was given time to run through the entire Dundee midfield, before lashing a right footed shot just outside the penalty box past newly appointed first place Keeper Parish.

An Bakhtaoui pass found Deacon on the right, who then beat Stevenson to the byline and put in an inviting cross. An unmarked Marcus Haber  headed into the back Marciano's goal to bring the scoreline level at 1 - 1.

Faissal El Bakhtaoui  driven shot 16 yard shot produced a very good save from Hibs Marciano to deny Dundee the chance to go ahead.

However just on the hour, Hibs scored to retake the lead. A Stokes cross from the left found Murray unmarked and Murray volleyed into the back of Parish's goal.
