So who exactly is this new lad from Wigan?
Centre back Hendry came up through the ranks at Dundee United before signing with Partick Thistle. He then burst onto the scene in 2015 and went on to make four appearances in the League and one in the League Cup for Thistle before Wigan Athletic shelled out a reported £250,000 transfer fee for the youngster. They also tied him down on a four year deal.
Before signing for Wigan, Hendry was a target for Everton and was even invited down to train with Goodison Park outfit for a few days.
Hendry would go onto to make three appearances for his new club with them all coming in the EFL Cup before being loaned out to Shrewsbury in March 2016.
Upon heading back to Wigan at the end of the season, Hendry was in demand after impressing during his time with Shrewsbury Town and MK Dons came in with an offer to loan him until January 2017.
During his five months with the Dons, Jack played twelve times for the club before his deal was up.
Then as we all know, after negotiating an early release from his contract with Wigan, Hendry would head back up to Scotland and sign a two-year deal with The Dee in the hope of kick-starting his career.
