Cammy Kerr may have found himself on the side-lines since Dundee were beaten away to Queen of the South in the Scottish cup but that has not stopped the young defender from aiming to not only force himself back into the first-team, but to win a new deal with the Dark Blues.
Since making his debut back in 2013-14, Cammy Kerr has amassed over 100 appearances for his boyhood club and has also went to on to captain the side on numerous occasion.
The arrival of James Horsfield on-loan from Scunthorpe United however has seen Kerr have to make do with a place on the bench and with his contract up in the summer, Kerr insists that he will keep working hard to win back his place in the staring XI and a new contract.
“My contract is coming to an end and I want to be playing so I am in the strongest possible position to secure a new one,” said Kerr.
“Everyone knows that I am a big fan of the club and proud to have captained them many times so not playing is frustrating. All I can do is work really hard.”
