Neil warnock has confirmed that cardiff city have been keeping an eye on Dundee midfielder glen kamara after weeks of speculation in the press.

During his press conference this morning ahead of their clash with Tottenham, Warnock was quizzed about his transfer targets for the January window which included Glen Kamara.

Warnock admitted that he had been watching the Finnish midfielder, adding fuel to the flames that Kamara was about to sign a pre-contract with the Welsh club, though he was coy about the situation.

Kamara has yet again made the full national squad for their matches against Estonia and Greece this month. Glen has been capped five times for Finland and will be hoping to contribute to Finland’s UEFA Nations League campaign where they currently top their table.

Källman has been called up to the U21 side and will be looking to add to his ten caps and eight goals when they take on Georgia and Lithuania in the European Championship qualifying group stages.

The Finnish International midfielder has been the subject of a few transfer rumours this year with Celtic, The Rangers and Swansea all been reported to be keen on capturing his signature.
As of yet, there has been no bids received for the highly rated youngster.
Kamara has a year left on his current deal and Neil McCann has made it clear he would like to see Glen sign up for longer at Dens. Talks have took place but just like the transfer speculation surrounding him, nothing yet has came of the contract talks.
With just over a week before Dundee kick off their Betfred League Cup campaign, the fans will be hoping that McCann and the club can keep a hold of Kamara and even convince him to extend his stay up in Scotland.

The rumour mill surrounding the Finland International has picked up in the last few weeks and now English due Derby and Bournemouth have entered the race to sign him according to HITC Sport.

Swansea have sent scouts to watch him on several occasions this season.

Kamara has been one of the finds of the seasons in Scottish football and many Dundee fans have already labelled him their player of the year for Dundee.

The midfielder signed a two-year deal with the club after he was released from Arsenal in the summer.

I don't think we will have this guy for long.. or we should be thinking about extending his contract!

Since signing from Arsenal, midfielder Glen Kamara has been given plaudits by the fans during pre-season but in the team’s first competitive game of the 2017-18 season, it was the managers turn to heap the praise on him.

“Glen’s a class act, that’s why we brought him here,” said the manager.

“He’s obviously gone under the radar and people were wondering who he was, but he’s a player I saw and he was exactly the type I was looking for, for that position.
“We’ve probably got three guys in the squad who can play that position but he showed why we’ve got him at Dundee. He’s a real intelligent player.”

Dundee took the lead in the 83rd minute when Moussa netted for his first Dundee goal but the celebrations were short lived when Lewis Vaughan equalised just as the game headed into the final minute.

Dundee teams of yesteryear would’ve normally let their heads go down and accept their fate but this Dundee team showed they had some new character about them to go back up the field and slot home the winner thanks to a Jack Hendry header.

“I was really pleased that when we lost the goal we took the ball back, we weren’t feeling sorry for ourselves, and we wanted to get up the park and go for the winner. I was delighted with that aspect of the game.
“I think we showed a bit of character. We’ve been working hard on our mindset in pre-season. Even in training everything is geared towards winning.
We’ve got a wee thing going within the club, I’ll not go into too much detail, but you get rewarded if you win, even games in training.”
