Dundee completed a stunning swoop by announcing that Kane Hemmings had returned to the club today from Notts County on a three-year deal.
The striker left Dundee in 2016 after scoring 28 Goals in 44 matches for the Dark Blues which also earned him a PFA Player of the Year nomination along with fellow strike partner, Greg Stewart.
Kane left Dundee to move to Oxford United after the club triggered a release clause which seen the big striker leave for a reported £250,000.
He scored 15 times with Oxford before he was loaned out to Mansfield Town where he scored a further 15 times for them. Last season, Hemmings moved to Notts County and found the back of the net 14 times.
There was speculation that St Johnstone had enquired about the availability of loaning Hemmings but his old club were quick to swoop and offer him a permanent move.
