Dundee will be hoping to bounce back after the weekends defeat to Partick Thistle against former player and Ayr United manager, Ian McCall.

In what can only be classed as a tale of two halves, James McPake's side dominated for much of the first half with an all-round team performance, but failed to capitalise after going ahead when McGowan slipped a tidy shot past Scott Fox in the 25th minute.

Partick Thistle came out much more organised in the second half, and immediately put pressure on Dundee from the kick off. However, it took the Partick Thistle side until the 85th minute to grab the equaliser, then a 5 minute madness from the Dundee side in which Partick went on to comfortably win the game.

Kenny Miller grabbed the equaliser on the 85th minute, three minutes later Shea Gordon made it 2-1, Lewis Mansell finished off the 5 minutes of the 5 minute madness by making it 3-1 in the 91st minute ensuring the 3 points went back to Firhill.
