  1. I don't think making billionaires and billionaire companies pay more tax and redistributing this across all parts of society that desperately need it is a negative thing. It surely actually makes perfect sense unless of course you're a billionaire?

    Decade Highlights for the Dee

Player - GGH. Missed every game since his departure. Allan showed gimpses. Dorrans has showed glimpses. No one has came close. Goal - McPake at Tannadice and Heff at Dens. Limbs 10/10 for both. Moment - Winning the league at Dens in front of 10,500 Dees in all 4 stands. What a day and night that was.

    Kamara (Again)

I'm sure Glen when putting in half arsed performances against the likes of Livi in the clubs worst top flight season in its history whilst being tapped up from Gerrard and Rangers wasnt overly giving two hoots what posters on an unofficial fans forum were posting about him. He had a poor final half season for us and wasnt suited to a full blooded relegation battle. He's seemingly done well for Rangers. We move on. Last season was a disaster he was a part of.

    McPake Must Go.

Fair doos mate. We all react differently from it. Time to move on I think.

    McPake Must Go.

I can see the other side of the argument too though and a strong 2nd place finish will be an ok season (not some great achievement we should be shouting about. We were a mid table Premiership club three seasons ago). Lets just hope the manager and players can restore a bit of pride in the next two derbies by giving them a much closer game and a lot more to think about as a starting point. 8-2 from two derbies with a performance like that last one is an insult.

    McPake Must Go.

Great post and this bit is bang on. We all know and concede that United are the favourites to win the league ever since signing Shankland. That doesn't mean we accept as a support and a club rolling over to them in 4 derbies and giving them 12 easy points. They are the best team in this league and will almost definitely win it I think, but they aren't invincible as Alloa, Ayr and QOTS have shown. Even if we concede they will finish first, you still have pride to play for in a home derby in front of a sell out crowd and apart from matching them for effort first half (where they still shaded the play), our players simply didn't offer anywhere remotely near enough what they should have for a fixture of that magnitude and a lot of that was down to the manager with his tactics and subs. To have your first shot on goal being a passback to their keeper round about the 70 minute mark is an insult to the 7000 Dundee fans who turned out for a TV game to back our club despite the previous derby hammering. The derbies mean everything and to state fook them and they don't is just kidding yourself on regardless if you think Dundee will finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or worse. Here's hoping for a reaction but it's going to be a frustrating painful season I think with a rookie manager in charge learning the ropes and making mistakes throughout the journey.

    McPake Must Go.

It's not the be all and end all but the fact is, we're attempting to challenge them for the title and have so far failed miserably to do so , mainly down to the two defeats against them. It's the manner of the defeats too. Have seen us lose 1-0 over the road in the league cup from a late goal against 10 men under Hartley where Boyle ran them ragged that night and the whole Dundee support stayed behind and sang and applauded them off the park as they deserved it. Compare that to the last two derbies. Not really. He hit his best spell of the season with three wins on the bounce (two against teams we should be beating every day of the week with our players) and before that, there hadn't been much to shout about or any consistency.

    McPake Must Go.

I'm not sure that's much of an achievement. Looking for us to compete in derbies with that team we have on paper and not weaken with each sub week in week out as a minimum.

    McPake Must Go.

He lost my patience second half Friday night. A humiliating home defeat with baffling subs in front of a sold out home crowd that deserved better after the previous humiliation. It's only mid November and so far McPake has - Lost two derbies convincingly. Has us 9 points off the top and rising. Has failed to beat Cove, Peterhead, Elgin and bottom of the table Partick Thistle plus a few others on top of that. Has a court case hanging over him until February (Not saying he's guilty or whatever, but it must be affecting him massively as a person). Post match interview on Friday was apparently awful. Should never have got the job in the first place as many others have said. Cheap easy option again like McCann but the club and it's fans will pay for it again. 5 seasons we've went back the way under 4 different managers. It's all good and well having Strachan, Dorrans and Hemmings etc at Dens, but if you're putting a youth coach in the top seat with no previous experience learning the ropes, it's highly unlikely he will have what's required for at least a few seasons. Makes no sense to me the board have backed the club really well but can't hire a proper manager that can do the job.

    The Title

About the same chance as McPake winning a derby this season as manager (next to none)

    McPake Must Go.

Only post since Friday. McPake out on that second half alone. Shameful performance for a home derby. Baffling subs. Well played John Nelms. Three awful appointments in a row and the club going backwards season on season for 5 seasons.

    Dundee V Dabs (Home, 08th Nov 2019)

Things have went quiet since the tickets sold out. What does everyone think for line up? Unchanged? Mackie in for Nelson? Ness in for Nelson? Would surely be one of those three and no wholesale changes after 3 wins on the bounce. If Marshall is fit of course.
