  3. Tickets are now on sale for Dundee's Ladbrooke's Championship game against Ayr United this Friday, Oct 25th at 7:05pm at the Somerset Park, Ayr at Dens Park. The Dark Blues will face former player Mark Kerr as the new manager of Ayr United. Mark Kerr, 39, was announced as the new manager yesterday afternoon after the departure of Ian McCall in September. Dundee will be hoping to bounce back after the weekends defeat to Partick Thistle against former player and Ayr United manager, Ian McCall. In what can only be classed as a tale of two halves, James McPake's side dominated for much of the first half with an all-round team performance, but failed to capitalise after going ahead when McGowan slipped a tidy shot past Scott Fox in the 25th minute. Partick Thistle came out much more organised in the second half, and immediately put pressure on Dundee from the kick off. However, it took the Partick Thistle side until the 85th minute to grab the equaliser, then a 5 minute madness from the Dundee side in which Partick went on to comfortably win the game. Kenny Miller grabbed the equaliser on the 85th minute, three minutes later Shea Gordon made it 2-1, Lewis Mansell finished off the 5 minutes of the 5 minute madness by making it 3-1 in the 91st minute ensuring the 3 points went back to Firhill. Ticket Information Tickets can be purchased online ahead of the game at Somerset Park and supporters will receive an E-Ticket on completion of the order, which must be shown and scanned before admission to Somerset Park. Each ticket has its own unique barcode and once scanned in it will not allow admittance again. There is limited provision to buy tickets on the day, but this will be cash only. It is strongly advised to purchase tickets before arriving at Somerset Park. Away fans will be accommodated in the West Stand and the Railway End and the away support can enter through Turnstiles: Railway End (Turnstiles 3 & 5) and West Stand (Turnstile 10 ) Adult: £18.00, Concessions : £12.00 (Over 65’s/Students/18-21/Wheelchair Users/Certified Ambulant), Under 18's: £6.00 There is the capacity for 6 away wheelchairs and their carers. Please advise Dundee FC if you wish to attend and they will contact Ayr United. There is a Concession charge of £6 for wheelchair users and their carers are free of charge. With regards to Ambulant supporters, it has become increasingly difficult for us to identify the individual needs of ambulant supporters and therefore would appreciate if you have some documentation to support the Concession ticket when entering the gate. Our guide for Dundee Fans to Firhill Stadium
  4. I'd go 4-4-2 in this game and get some experience in the side with McPake and Finn to sit this one out. Hamilton Kerr Forster McGhee marshall Todd dorrans Byrne Mcdaid Nelson Johnson
  5. Goals in the first ten minutes ensured both teams left with a point in a frustrating night at Palmerston Park. Jordan McGhee was able to equalize minutes after Jack Hamilton opened the scoring for the hosts.
  6. James McPake can’t wait for the Championship to start at Dunfermline on Friday.
