  1. I did the following interview for a previous DFC group and have shared on forum Facebook, here it is for anyone else who.has not seen it Q1 You Like Graham Harvey started out at Hibs then moved to Broxburn athletic how did you first hear of Dundee's interest? Had been playing for Brox burn juniors after being released by Hibs after Youth team was scrapped and was noticed by a Dundee Scout. Q2 What was it that made you want to join Dundee? Was really desperate to get back to senior football again and had a couple of offers but Dundee seemed the right move at that time. Q3 32 appearance's and 3 goals, what was the most memorable appearance for you in a Dundee shirt? Obviously didn't make a lot of appearances but scoring in a derby is a great memory, but I scored at Tynecastle against Hearts in 85 I think which was my most memorable goal and game for the club. Q4 Who were you closest with in your time at club? At that time we had a great group of lads a lot of us stayed in digs during the week, had a few good nights out especially Fatty's on a Thursday night! Was particularly close to Graham Harvey as I was his chauffeur, Q5 How did it feel playing for Dundee compared to any other club? Was a good place to play and dens was great but I didn't do it often enough! Q6 Best manager and captain to work with? Best Manager was Archie, learned so much about what was required to make it in the game, had a few captains but Bobby Glennie was a great example and always had time for the younger players. Q7 What was Harvey like as a player? Graham was a fantastic player, great touch ,could hold it up bring others into game and was a brilliant finisher, if he had that extra yard of pace he could have played anywhere, I remember sitting in stand or Pittodrie in a cup tie and he gave Miller and McLeish a torrid night. Q8 during you and his time there were a few apprentice's at the club likes Ralph Brand and others which did you think maybe should got some playing time in first team? A lot of good younger players at that time,Ralph was one Steve Campbell another, difficult to give young players s lot of game time then as manager tended to go with experience . Q9 What did you think of the achievement of team in the deefiant era ? Dundee have done remarkable things in the deefiant era as everyone stuck together and the fans of the club are very passionate about their team, Q10 have you considered going into management/coaching? I have been coaching for many years now having gained my qualifications, worked at various academies lastly at Hearts ,and had a few interviews for senior jobs but for one reason or another it hasn't happened yet,so see what future holds. Q11 Did you ever play against and old teammate and wind him up? Played against former teammates many times,Even played against Duff who was my manager at Falkirk, them he went back playing at Partick. Q12 What do you like about the group Good for everyone to keep informed and have opinions although we all have our own an we should respect other people's as that is what makes football the best.
