The Dark Blues forum have kindly been handed four tickets from the club for use of the pod for the Queen of the South match on the 28th March.
Because of the clubs fine gesture, we have decided that we would raffle off these tickets and with the money raised, donate it to the new project that the Dundee FC in the Community trust have just announced, Football For All.
Below is some information about this project, taken from the community section of the Dundee website: https://dfccommunitytrust.org.uk/football-for-all/ and the Family Fund website: https://www.familyfund.org.uk/footballforall
‘Family Fund has teamed up with the Scottish Professional Football League Trust for a scheme to provide families who we support with free tickets to a number of league matches at SPFL clubs across Scotland during the 2019/20 football season.’
‘Whether you’re a lifelong fan or looking to take your son or daughter to their first game, this
is a great chance to see your local team in action for free!’
‘The tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis for the participating football clubs’ home league matches, and are free to any family in Scotland who has received a Family Fund grant since 1 January 2018. ‘
‘Tickets to selected home leagues games will be available from Annan Athletic, Cove Rangers, Dundee, East Fife, Falkirk, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Partick Thistle, Queens Park and St Mirren.’
If you would like an opportunity to raise money for this cause and to also win tickets for the pod which include free pies and bovril, visit the website: https://www.thedarkblues.co.uk/ or get in touch on Twitter @TheDarkBlues for more details
