The Dee welcomed St Mirren for the first league game of the season. The game ended 2-2 in a thrilling end to end game. St Mirren went ahead in the first 4 minutes through Brophy. The Dee equalised in the 44th minute after Shaughnessy put the ball past his own keeper. McGrapth scored from the spot after Cummings was judged to have pushed a St Mirren player in the box. Cummings made up for that in the 60th minute. Max Anderson found Marshall with a lovely long through ball, Marshal squared the ball into the box and an unmarked Cummings he slide the ball into the net to make it 2-2. Anderson was sent off in the 64th minute after a pretty rash challenage from behind. The Dee held on for a draw for the remainder of the 90th minutes. Full time: Dundee 2 - 2 St Mirren

Dundee start the season with a 4 goal thrashing of Brora Rangers at Dens Park. Paul McGowan opened the scoring in the 24th minute with an assist from McMullan. Paul McMullan made it 2 in 34 and then struck again just after the break to make it 3 - 0. Jakubiak scored the 4th and final goal on the 51st minute. 2 assists from both McMullan and Adam. Dundee 4 - 0 Brora Rangers

Well, Dundee faced Ayr United for the second time in as many Days. While the previous game was a scrappy affair from both side, this game was not. This game was entertaining and full of an attacking Dundee side which we have not seen for a long time. There was not one Dundee player who let the side down tonight and if this is the things to come, let it continue! Hemmings opened the scoring in the 11th minute when he was played through with just the keeper to beat. Dorrans pounced on a mistake seconds from the end, and played a lovely little ball to Crankshaw who made no mistake, and slammed the ball past the keeper to make it 2- 0. Three points thank you very much! Full-time: Dundee 2 - 0 Ayr United

The Dee travelled south to Palmerston Park and this weekend championship game against Queen of the South. The game was a scrappy affair with terrible weather conditions. The Dee had most of the possession but couldn't find the target in the first half. The second have started pretty much the same until Jordan Forster header hit the back of the net. Queen of the South 0 - 1 Dundee

The Dark Blues hosted Dunfermline in today's Championship league game. Dundee opened the scoring courtesy of an own goal by Devine in the 15th min. The cheering hardly had a time to die down when Dow equalised in the 16th minute. Hemmings made it 2-1 in the 25th minute, and McGowan made it 3-1 on the 34th minute. Dundee came out the traps in the second half and scored within the first minute of the restart. Kiltie was sent off in the 62nd minute and then came a few minutes of madness by the Dundee defence. Nesbit scored in the 69th minute and Martin on the 72nd minute. Dundee looked shaky for the remainder of the second half when they should have been more than comfortable but for some terrible defending. Dundee 4 - 3 Dunfermline

The Dark Blues can feel lucky that they came away from this game with a point. Ex-dee Bobby Linn opened the scoring in the 37th minute when he beat Hamilton from outside the box. Dundee didn't even huff and puff in this game, but the Dee equalised through Kane Hemmings in the 61st minute, when his header hit the bottom left of Gaston. Full-time: Arbroath 1 - 1 Dundee

Dundee beaten at home against Queen of the south. Dobbie opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a superb goal past Hamiltons righ hand side. Johnson equalised with a fantastic solo effort in which he left McCrorie no chance to save as it bulleted past him from distance. Then 31 seconds later, a mistake by Forster gave Dobbie his second and the 3 points for QOS. Dundee 1 - 2 QOS

The Dee travelled up north to face Inverness CT today. Aaron Doran scored for the Caley jags opened the scoring in the 16th minute. The Dark Blues huffed and puffed but could not find an equaliser. Inverness CT 1 - 0 Dundee

The dark blues hosted our neighbours from next door in tonight's Championship League game. Dundee huffed and puffed and never looked like even scoring never mind winning this game. Clark scored from the penalty spot after Declan McDaid lunged in on Liam Smith. Shankland scored after he disposed Nelson in the 64th minute. Dundee 0 - 2 Dundee United.

Dundee were hosts to Morton tonight. The first half was a bit of a battle between both teams, with either side having a few chances on goal. Hemmings opened the scoring in the 63th minute and few moments later, Morton were all square with a Salkfield goal. Super sub Ness came on in the 75th minute and scored the winning goal in the 80th minute. It wasn't pretty but it was three points to the Dee. Dundee 2 - 1 Morton

The dark blues headed south to Recreation Park to play Alloa in tonight's Ladbrooke's Championship match. McPake's team remained unchanged from Ayr United win last Friday. The only change was Ness in on the bench for Todd who was injured in that game. Hemmings opened the scoring on the 15th minute assisted by Declan McDiad. Hemmings made it two in the 39th minute when Hemmings volleyed a Marshal cross into the net. Mackie comes on as a sub and scores three minutes later and Hemmings has an assist. Alloa Athletic 0 - 3 Dundee

The dark blues travelled to Somerset to play second position Ayr united. Dundee opened the scoring when McDaid hit a stunning strike past Doohan in the 16th minute. Dundee doubled their lead in the 32nd minute after McGowan was booked, hit the ball in anger past Doohan. Ayr United brought one back when McCowan headed past Hazard unchallenged at the left post. Dundee are out of the Tunnocks Tea cake cup after a a dismal display and defeat to 2nd division side Elgin. Cammy Kerr opened the scoring in the 26th minute with a stunning left footed shot from outside the box. However, it was Elgin who stole the show with a few minutes of madness which saw Elgin score two goals and the Dundee Keeper sent off. Omar scored a wonderful goal which left Ferrie with no chance and then a mix-up in defence left Ferrie seeing Red. Mackie with a dreadful opening game plays an awful pass back and Ferrie comes off his line and clashes with Hester. Sunderland fires the ball into the empty net and the ref then send off Ferrie. Dundee 1 - 2 Elgin

This was a game where the two defences played their part today, as Dundee huffed and puffed to find the goal. Both sides coming close through out the game, but without making either keeper really work. Dundee 0 - 0 Inverness CT
