  1. This topic is to discuss what is going on with other teams in the premiership. Seems that Robbie Neilson is the Mcbookie favourite for the St Johnstone job. Was hoping that Billy likes fiba Dodds would take over to see St Johnstone continuing on the job their previous to mangers started and see them relegated.

We achieved a fourth-place finish in the 2015/16 season, the fifth season in a row the club had finished in the 'top six', and recently competed in four successive Europa League qualifying campaigns between 2012-15, with notable aggregate victories over Norwegian giants Rosenborg BK and Switzerland's FC Luzern. In 2014 we were crowned winners of the 2014 William Hill Scottish Cup after defeating Tayside rivals Dundee United 2-0 in the final at Celtic Park, the first time in our history we had lifted a major national trophy. The 2020/21 season proved to be the greatest in the club's history. We lifted the League Cup for the first time ever after beating Livingston 1-0 at Hampden, but that wasn't the end of our fairytale journey. We won the Scottish Cup again on the 22nd of May 2021, completing an unprecedented Cup Double. To contact us please use the information below: ST. The St Mirren Independent Supporters Association (SMISA) bought out the remaining shareholding of chairman Gordon Scott to become majority (51%) owners of the Buddies. The deal helped safeguard the club's future – formed in 1877 – by placing it in the hands of its supporters, the people who care for it the most. The move into fan ownership came in conjunction with charity and social enterprise Kibble who, in 2020, bought a 27 percent stake to become part-owners of the club. That model – where the club is owned by its fans and run in partnership with a charity – is believed to be unique in top-flight European football and allowed SMISA to complete the transition to fan ownership in five years rather than the original 10-year plan set out in 2016. And the dream of fan ownership has only been realized thanks to the financial backing from SMISA’s nearly-1200-strong membership over the past years and the support and growth of SMISA in general from its formation almost 20 years ago. Now that the shares have been purchased, the members’ contributions instead go towards supporting different club areas, including the youth academy and the charitable foundation. SMISA have four representatives on the St Mirren board, with chairman John Needham, Alex White, Gordon Scott and Paul McNeill representing. Vice-chairman Jim Gillespie and Mark McMillan sit on the board as representatives of Kibble. Although the club is owned by its fans, the day-to-day operations will continue to be run by Chief Operating Officer Keith Lasley and the St Mirren staff. Equally, if results go to the opposite way it could mean relegation to the Championship. The manager is confident heading through to face St. Mirren that the win the team has been searching for is just around the corner. It’s the third derby meeting of the season with United winning the first one 1-0 before a 0-0 at the Kilmac Stadium in February. Both sides come into the match on the back of draws. We came from behind to take a point at home to Aberdeen last weekend while United left the capital with a point after a 1-1 draw with Hibernian. MORE HERE DUNDEE FC LINEUP DEE COME FROM TWO DOWN TO DRAW DERBY Dundee fought back dramatically from being two goals down to take a well deserved 2-2 draw against Dundee United in the derby at Tannadice. Nicky Clark’s header gave United the lead at half time. Charlie Mulgrew made it 2-0 early in the second half. But the Dee hit back strongly and scored twice in two minutes. Danny Mullen headed in the first, and Charlie Adam scored from 30 yards to spark joy in the away stands. Mark McGhee made two changes to the Dee’s starting eleven. Charlie Adam and Max Anderson came in for Christie Elliott and Zak Rudden as the Dark Blues switched to a four man defence. Neither keeper was given any real trouble in a scrappy opening. The Dark Blues did put themselves in unnecessary trouble when they failed to deal with a high ball, allowing Tony Watt to nick it away. United couldn’t take advantage as the ball flew to and fro across goal. READ HERE

THE DEE ARCHIVE GAMES V LIVINGSTON MATCHDAY PROGRAMME MATCH PREVIEW Mark McGhee has had to wait for his first home match in charge after the midweek call off but he will get the chance this weekend as we take on Livingston at the Kilmac Stadium on Saturday, kick-off 3pm. The teams have met twice before this season. Despite being in control of the match last time out in the City of Discovery, Dundee couldn’t find a way past a resolute Livingston defence and had to settle with a point. In January however, Livingston took all three points from the match at the Tony Macaroni Stadium with a 2-0 victory. The new management team have now had just over a week in charge and Max Anderson told the press in the build-up to this weekend’s match that it’s been a positive start. The midfielder said, “It’s been really positive, I think the players have all taken in what the Gaffer is trying to say. We just have to show it on the pitch now.” MORE HERE DUNDEE FC LINEUP
