I have to admit I thought what he did yesterday was important and brave. Respect to him for that. I asked a few months ago what we might wish to do to express our feelings about MacKay. There wasn't a great deal of support going around. I also noticed that we didn't kneel yesterday as St. Johnstone did. I don't think it was done in opposition to the underlying message, but I do think we should reconsider when we face County at Dens. I don't want to prejudge the particular circumstances of the abuse Fuchs says he heard, though Mackay is bang to rights, of course. But sharing the anti-racism message as Courts did isn't judging or punishing anyone. Had the guy been identified and stoned on the pitch solely based on the word of the player, I wouldn't have supported that. I'm even wearing tangerine and black socks in honour of Tam Courts today. Don't worry, the blue ones will be on again from tomorrow onwards. By the way, I'm not looking for indignant rage from the usual suspects. I just want to have a civilised discussion about racism in scottish football, and of course to find something to talk about that isn't related to the crap we witnessed yesterday.
