  1. The Dark Blues will host David Hopkins Greenock Morton for this Friday's evenings Ladbrooke's Championship tie at the Kilmac Stadium at Dens Park at 7:05pm. This game will be live on BBC Scotland at 7:00pm. The last times these two teams met were on 21st September, and the Dees were beaten 1 - 0 after Peter Grant headed on the stroke of half time for the home side. Morton are currently sitting in 8th place in the Championship table and were beaten 3 - 2 by Mark Kerr's Ayr United last Tuesday night. Jim McAlister and John Sutton will be faces which most Dees will recognise as they face up against their former side. Sutton, 35, will be remembered for his loan stint at Dens in 2004, he appeared 32 times and scored 8 goals. The most memorable of his goals has to be the 'It's behind you' goal against Dundee United when Paul Jarvie let the ball go through his legs in the last minute of the game. Every Dee will remember the incident 'bite-gate' and when Nadir Ciftci bit McAlister on the leg during a Dundee Derby. McAlister, 33, was signed by then manager Paul Hartley, an ever-present in the Dundee side playing 125 games and scored eight times.
