I don't. And i don't buy this idea that he adds to the stature of the club. He is zero use to us in the stand. And so far, hes been next to no use on the pitch either. A waste of 2 or 3 wages IMO.

I thought he was our signing of the summer so I'm not going to pretend otherwise now. Our players look up to him. Potentially great captain.

He has had lots of injury problems but it's seems largely down to bad luck. I think it was worth the risk. We signed a lot of midfielders as back up. I still think Hartley was right to sign Thomson, even if it hasn't worked out so far.

We took a gamble on a player with a good pedigree and so far it hasn't gone as well as we'd hoped. I'm starting to think it might not happen but I for one was cumming in my Y's when we signed him.

Not sure about the swaggering dude, I've not seen it. He's not played as much as I had hoped and I wasn't expecting him to start every game what with his injury background. Disaster is maybe a bit melodramatic, for me he's been a bit disappointing seeing as he's our top earner but lets see where we are in May. Its not inconceivable that he makes a difference to our points tally at the end of the season so I'm happy enough (and accepting that there's feck all I can do about it) to wait and see.

Or he might be injured or the manager didn't pick him. You seem a glass half empty kind of a 'chap' mate. While the Davidsons of the footballing world have their place I'm not sure I'd want a team of them. While we're rattling off players that you fancy playing for us I'll go Messi, Ronaldo (either, take your pick), Cahill and I'll throw in GMS just to be provocative.

Don't know how anyone can defend this signing any longer. Can barely string 2 games in a row together, we haven't won a single game when he has started in the league, he's on a decent wedge. Write off.
