Goal difference might be very important. Not getting pumped 7-2, for example, may be almost worth a 0-1 defeat at Dens.

The saddest thing about your comment above BC' is that in this present fitba climate (league set-up) it's oh so true.

In the distant past (good/bad) auld days, although goal difference might at times be part o' the equation, eh dinnae

mind it haein' quite the same importance it has now. There was a time then, when we went oot tae fight for points

Cannot see any justification or stat to predict we will get 3 points. (Other than we are the Dark Blues).

This year, in 4 games. we have scored 3 times and conceded 8 times. We have not won a game.

Unless PH changes his tactics, the mindset of the players and the formation (against the OF), I predict a defeat.

(I think he will start with the same team v Killie).

Prediction: 1-1

:lol2:

Don't usually like to predict any games involving us but managed to get it right last week so going to go for 2-1 with Ojamma getting a double

Tough tough game this one,  we need to be at it from the start  i have a feeling Rangers might have a different approach to the game with Warburton away etc,  and be  a bit more quicker getting the ball up the pitch to the front men.

Hopefully we can do well but i am not confident  Rangers win for me im afraid.

Both clubs/teamsmanagers//players have a guid lot to prove here.

Cannae predict a result here (even if I thought I could, eh dinnae)

Think today Dundee might make a real game of it.

Three points wid be wonderful. One point still OK

(No thinking aboot the last alternative) Dundee FC :bouncy:

Getting excited, a bit too early, Sunday, not Today

As others have mentioned, the Rangers defence is shaky at best. Clint Hill and Kiernan can be got at if you run at them and maybe try and get in behind them using Wighton hopefully who can rip them to shreds with direct running and young legs..

The other side of things though is Barry McKay who can like Jones for Killie last week, cause us real problems with his pace and trickery and obviously Kenny Miller is still so dangerous in the box so hopefully our defence and snuff out any danger, or more importantly can we stop the crosses from coming into our box? We fail to stop the majority of them every week standing off the winger or midfielder about to whip one in.

I feel like we can win with the correct attitude, too much respect for them will only result in one way.. obviously give respect to better players but we've got to take initiative at home and get our 'flair' player in Wighton and maybe Ojamaa on the ball who hopefully can provide the skill and directness to hurt their poor defence with Haber the focal point. I would like to see Ojamaa closer to Haber so maybe there could be some sort of partnership with wighton licence to roam a bit.

prediction? Another 1-1 I think, heart says a famous Dee victory 2-1

we play 5 at the back and we will concede more and more possession wo oor midfield being overun. Being two goals down or more, we will change to a back 4 and start having a go.Surprise surprise we score a goal and narrowly miss getting something out of the game as time runs out. Sound familiar?

The other scenario is we start wi a back 4 an get at their rank rotten defence an come away with a morale boosting result.

Take your pick

Feck it - Lets just go for it and see what happens - I don't think I could handle watching another backs to the wall , no shots on target, heartless 1-0 loss

Me neither. This is one of those situations where the only advice I can give is to get our best players on the park.  The best players who are also going to put a shift in for 90 minutes if required and put their body in the way of anything the Rangers can throw at us.  Not too much to ask?
