This is one of those situations where the only advice I can give is to get our best players on the park. The best players who are also going to put a shift in for 90 minutes if required and put their body in the way of anything the Rangers can throw at us. Not too much to ask? I suspect that we will play 532, defend and try and hit on the counter for most of this game and when we go a goal behind (or around 20 minutes from full-time) we will switch to a 433 attacking style and leave it late again. That is the Dundee way just now. I would love to be proven wrong tomorrow and we come out the traps flying, but I just don't see it myself. I see a Dundee 0 - 1 Rangers, with a fluky Rangers goal helped by a moron of a ref..

One good thing, it's not a 12:30 kick off. We seem to be really terrible at those and for the last couple of years I don't remember actually winning any games that started at that time?
TheWhiteCafu Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 Results mostly going our way today is pointless if we don't make tomorrow count. Hopefully we don't bottle it and just have a go, they're mediocre at best and deserve no respect

Bobby123 Posted 18 February 2017 Posted 18 February 2017 The games that really count are the ones against ICT and Kille-we blew the chance to get clear of ICT and set up for a tame draw against Kille. We are where we deserve to be - the 4 winnable home games we have left(including 2 in the bottom 6) are what we must try and win- that does not include tomorrow-anything from it is a welcome bonus. I still can't see us winning away from home-would we have got a point at Tyncastle today????

But when you follow DFC, we kinda get used tae that scenario I suppose. & Hope we (but mainly the players) can shove these disappointments (point losses) behind them And go into the next game wi' re-newed vigour and get right back on track..... C'mon the DEE

Hamilton's defeat was like a Dundee win in a way and we moved closer to safety. Even if we lose to Rangers we can be fairly happy with the weekend overall (in terms of us staying up). 1

We've got a chance against a poor Rangers team to get slightly more breathing space from the bottom two positions. If we lose tomorrow we could only be one bad set of results away from the dreaded play off position, Celtic or Aberdeen then it'd be more understandable but we absolutely should look to take something from them. Especially at home Obviously it's good seeing results going our way but to not take advantage and not move forward would be disappointing and potentially costly, IMO at least. Hopefully it's a moot point though and we finally beat those bigoted arseholes Edited 19 February 2017 by TheWhiteCafu
eyeothedug Posted 19 February 2017 Posted 19 February 2017 At least we have firepower up front for this game in Haber and Ojamma. Last time at Dens it was Jordi and El Bak. They tried their best but not strong enough. I think with either El Bak or CW in attacking midfield on top of a solid defence we could hopefully give them a game. Think we should just go 4 4 2 Kerr, Gowser, CW/El Bak and one other in midfield. I would have said Klok but he seemed poor on his debut. Vincent or Hateley?
