Just a wee note about CW at the weekend.

No-one (myself included) is really raving about his performance on Sunday whilst Cammy and Co get huge plaudits, but having downloaded and watched the game back (Thanks harry) it really was an excellent performance from him.

I think we all have such high expectations for young Craig that for him to get a rave review he will need to pop in a perfect Hat-trick. The reality is he is a 19 year old laddie who spent most of that game running at Glasgow Rangers using skill and vision to tear them to pieces on occasion.

From the first minute he set the tone with his brilliant run and cross which O'Hara took off the head of Haber.

He did drift in and out of the game but that's par for the course for a young player (especially out on the wing) but to see a 19 year old boy surrounded by 3 experienced Rangers players slide the ball through to Ojamaa for him to cross for our goal is a real treat. His turn of pace, cheeky nutmeg and composed strike near the end were also exceptional - you need to credit the Rangers defender with an excellent saving tackle (and their keeper for a good reaction save after it deflected to the right), otherwise I think the bottom left corner of the net was rippling just as it did when he made the DABs cry.

In CW and Cammy kerr we have 2 fantastic young prospects and they make me proud to be a Dee every time I see them nutmeg a defender or annihilate an experienced Scotland international in front of the Derry.

Noticed that about the three defenders on replay too. They looked lost and clueless as Craig basically took them apart with his run to help create the first goal.

Hi Bubster I did comment on CW on here after the Sunday's game... So apologies for maybe repeating myself. And that's a fine opening (&well deserved) post on CW.

Absolute greatest (& growing respect for him) .... more so since he has been getting regular games. The only thing (just) missing in his present repetoire is a bundle of

goals ... And it's only a matter of time before they come along. He can take a pass, or pick up the ball in the most difficult and crowded position and not only come out

of it with the ball at his feet, get himself on the path to goal. Although he' still slight in build yet, he is starting to look more mature & stronger (keeping on his feet better)

I can see nothing but a great future for the lad,as his strength, confidence, & maturity grows with each game. His qualities just now are relatively unknow. ..And it always

seems to be a bit of a shock for the opposition when they see, just what he is capable of. At times they're not only beaten, but bewildered . What a prospect for DFC

(Cannae let this post go, withoot adding again. Congrats. to EVERYONE (bod, ph, players) And especially the Big DFC Crowd Support) Weel  Done lads & lasses:chaplin:

I thought it was Craig's best game "off the ball" for us as he put in a huge amount of work when Rangers had the ball

He's developing very well at the moment, the couple of weeks he had out the team recharged his batteries and he's stepped up again.

He's developed really well this year, long may it continue and props to the gaffer for bringing him on at the right pace.

Sure it was in that meet the team video from a few years back, Ferry and Harkins described him as "the best player at the club" and "an absolute wizard".

The wizard part is certainly correct as have lost count of the amount of times he has the ball and you think he is going to lose it or be tackled but then comes out with the ball leaving the defender in his wake.

The boy is an outstanding talent with all the natural ability and potential in the world. He is now beginning to show what he can really do and hopefully the young man continues to improve and work hard because if he does he is going to be one hell of a player.

Is'n't grand Stand In...to be able to talk positively about our players after a game :)

You're right to point out, his off the ball skills & his ability to finfd space. But there is

times, when he's given the ball in the tightest  position, & yet even then, off he goes.

In case others think I'm over-cooking on the personal praise front...weel, why no
