Why not form a Posse and run all the useless cnts out of town ? Oh and don't forget to wear your white bed sheet over your heads !! 3

While I don't agree with DDBU's views on Holt and Vincent I find it hard to disagree with him about Williams. Are we only allowed to offer opinions on players now when it is positive? That is the way it seems. 1
cookie Posted 3 March 2017 Posted 3 March 2017 For what its worth I think Danny is a talented ball player and if we weren't in such a tight spot with having to play so many attritional matches I think we would see a lot more from him and Wee Bahooky . He has nice hair though. 1

If the opinions are based on solid foundations then fair enough, when they totally disregard documented facts and are simply criticism for the sake of criticism then they are there to be shot at. Nothing wrong with having an opinion, negative or otherwise, just seems to me to be a bit strange when it happens after every defeat and by the same posters and with no real concrete stuff to back it up. Even when presented with real facts these same posters refuse to believe then and continue down the same path, page after page after page after page. 1

I am probably as guilty as most others on this forum but I try to think that the target of my criticism may be reading my post and I honestly worry about upsetting them. We only really know about players attitudes and abilities on the field but we have no idea about their emotional state nor any fragility they may be trying to hide. Some of these players are still very young and when I think about the comments which were made about Jordi who was trying to settle in a country he had never visited before I still cringe.
