I remember Hartley getting tore to shreds after a 6-0 defeat at Parkhead early last season and a 5-0 at Parkhead at the end of the season before.

Since then, we've had two 0-0 draws with them at the end of last season and three single goal defeats to them this season, the only team in the league they've not beat by more than a goal this season.

I think that's pretty impressive against a team that wins nearly every game and have 30 to 40 million pound rated forwards playing against O'Dea and Gomis and Kerr has got the better of Tierney the best young prospect in Scotland a few times now.

No-one likes getting beat but the fans accept a battling defeat against a much better side rather than a tanking hence the applause at full time yesterday for the efforts.

Well done Paul Hartley.

I generally agree with CW's post above ... There will be some saying, if only DFC applied themselves in the first half, the way we went about the job in the second half, we could easily have picked up at least a point. (These things are easier to say immediatey after the game, especially when we lost wi' the odd goal) But I think we awe ken fitba very rarely works oot, in accord wi the written plan ... (The best laid scheme o mice & men etc) And sometimes after a 24 hour break, our assessment is more moderate, and closer to the mark. Yesterday (imo) there was no guaranteed right way for the manager & players to approach this game ...it's right we didnae get the point(s) but on another day, it may well have worked out.
