Not at all. Plenty middle ground where players can fall into with up and down displays. Much of our squad fall into that category.  Williams doesn't for me at present though.

I've seen him play well for ICT but that means nothing if he's not showing any signs of performing for us (in any position)

I go to the football hoping for a winning Dundee performance. Danny Williams' contribution thus far have been consistently poor and there no point in saying otherwise. He needs to improve.

So fair game for 'stick' then. I'm sure that will do the trick. ;)

Yep, I was sure to use the caveat 'at this time' for the same reason as yourself. KH is still the most frustrating player at Dens imo.  Like you I'm convinced he is capable of a lot more than what I am seeing and I can't put my finger on exactly what part of his game continues to give me doubts.

Probably because he's either "too tall" or "bambi on ice"  I'm glad he's being used more for set pieces now though, he's not the strongest defensive LB and Easton is better (IMO) in that respect but he can take a kick and there's something to be said to have a left footed player taking free kicks from the right as well as corners. I think KH suffers more from his previous (poor) form than how he plays now. I can't see a Scotland call up any time soon but he's come on leaps and bounds, I've no problems with him being our LB although he's not perfect but who is at our level.

In all honesty he doesn't get it though. I've never heard him getting an extradinaory amount of pelters. I'm calling him pish on here just now but I don't sit at a game and berate him. Nobody else does as far as I can see or hear either.

We all want him to do well but he's just no been very good so far. We've got too many under performing players at the club just now and he's definitely one of them.

Just need to get used to having a cat around until the summer of 2019 when we get that dog we're after.

It's the cat we want though but we keep asking it to do things it cannae do.

Somebody needs to tell the manager that you can't teach an old cat new tricks.

While he's not been getting the 'full Irvine', I've heard some mutterings and it doesn't seem to take much to develop. As for here and other forums, its the bandwagon jumpers that do my head in, some are just desperate to have a hate figure.

To be fair mate, I agree with that. Folk have groaned and sighed at Williams but compared to the dog's (or cat's) abuse Holt and Vincent have had to put up with (and Ross early last season), he's had it really easy. having said that, a complete lack of game time means he's been given less opportunity to get the abuse!
