CW 90+3 02/05/16 Posted 22 March 2017 Posted 22 March 2017 He's shown nothing in his 25 appearances for us so far that suggests he will be a decent player for us going forward. He's started one game for us in 5 months and that was 3 months ago so the manager clearly agrees although he's still giving him the odd chance off the bench. Sadly one of a few we have on 2 to 3 year deals that have produced next to nothing in the progress of our football club. If he turns it round, I will be delighted. I've seen nothing to suggest he will though. 1

How many times have we seen it on forums where a player gets castigated then miracle of miracles, he turns out to be decent after all. If you assume that everyone will leave the club at some point because either A. They're decent so become attractive to other clubs and then become fair game for 'daring' to leave DFC OR B. They serve out their time/get moved on for being 'pish' Either way its tears and snot from some posters. Its all about the drama, some players don't work out for whatever reason, its life. One thing I am sure of, circle jerking ourselves into a frenzy over it and slating the guy isn't going to make him a better player. It might make the individual 'haters' feel better but then, they're putting their own rage before the good of the club. Hater's gonna hate an' all that. Personally I see him as more of a left midfielder than a winger, maybe splitting hairs there but I think he was signed as part of last seasons team which is understandable. PH maybe saw him in a team with GS and KH, dunno but he has been decent at this level (even less than a year ago) and he's had decent games with us (1st league game of the season being an example) so cut a Dundee brother some slack. If he moves on then fair enough, if he stays, lets try something leftfield and actually get behind our player. 1
