Heard this rumour from a few places but it varies so much that I think it's nonsense

If it's true and that's a big if,then it spells the end for Harkins and huge problems for hartley if he's lost the dressing room like that.

Begining of end I would say, but reiterate I think it's nonsense

Don't believe it for a second. Closest I'd say was that Hartley pulled Harkins away from Schenk whilst giving him a verbal beatdown.

That being said, Harkins took a nasty head knock in the run-up to our free-kick. Could have been taken off after getting some advice from NM at HT.

Should add the only thing that makes me think something did strange happen at Ht was the lack of the elastic band warm up post HT. We've done that every game unless I'm mistaken and maybe a sign all wasn't well?

They didn't do the elastic band warm up in full before the 2nd half v St Mirren. Just Letheren and another.

Wouldn't blame Hartley, Harkins or any other person in the Dundee dressing room for losing the plot at HT after going in 4-1 down. I'd be more disappointed if there wasn't passion flowing in the changing room after being embarrassed on the field like that.

That said, I still don't think anything like that went on. Certainly expect that there was a right few good harsh words used. Hartley's never struck me as the fighting type, but he's got the mentality of a winner so doubt he'd have just went over tactics either.

Exactly this.  I would have expected the team to get the DFC version of the hairdryer from PH and McCabe.  But not for Harkins or any other player to start pointing the finger because most of them were culpable.

Gross misconduct if true.Tomorrow will answer a lot of questions.Lose & Hartley's coats on the shooglie peg imo.

Do you think the BoD will make the same mistake that successive boards have at Dens and sack a manager without giving him a proper crack at the job?

What (if anything) happens in the changing room should stay in the changing room.

If this is even remotely close to being accurate then we may well be in for stormy times ahead..

1. What sort of leadership qualities is Hartley demonstrating to the entire squad and his management team if he has struck one of his players? Think of the impact that would have to someone like Carrerio for example...

2. Who does Harkins think he is mouthing off at others (Shenck allegedly) when his own performances of late have been p iss poor?

3. If true and it has not been completely sorted out, this will cause divisions right through the dressing room.

Here's hoping its either a load of cobblers or has been sorted amicably immediately after the game.

When has Harkins been poor ? Made most of our goals this season. Outstanding player
