Last four games in reverse order:

DAB's on New Years day - brutal subbed at half time

St Mirren - came on and done nothing (unwell apparently)

Plastic Whistle - suspended for being a complete numpty at Hamilton

Hamilton - done nothing and was subbed on the hour. Sent off from the bench

You would call that an outstanding contribution?

Some people can't get over themselves though, they see a possible / alleged glitch and exaggerate it until it looks like a major flaw in the fabric of the club and start demanding heads.

I honestly wonder why some people follow our club if they're not prepared for the roller coaster ride it always is.

Harkins has been class at times this season, some incredible flicks and turns as we would expect from him. Seems to have lost the 'killer edge' he had in his last spell with us so maybe hasn't starred as much. Still a great player for us and when he plays well the team still plays well.

I'm neither a GGH super fan or overly critical of him.. I'll give him praise when it's due but he's not been at the races for an extended period now. Earlier in the season he was creating and scoring. Not now unfortunatley..

A lot of nonsense no doubt like most of these rumours.

Our run of 10 points from four games that put us top six came with a strong keeper, solid back four, McGowan, Harkins and McAlister in the middle plus one other and Stewart and Clarkson up front. Harkins and Clarkson both performed brilliantly in that balanced team. Since the team lost its shape with the loss of McGowan those two and others have struggled for form. The key for me is get our best team out and build confidence again. That best team definitely includes Harkins.

Wouldn't blame Hartley, Harkins or any other person in the Dundee dressing room for losing the plot at HT after going in 4-1 down. I'd be more disappointed if there wasn't passion flowing in the changing room after being embarrassed on the field like that.

That said, I still don't think anything like that went on. Certainly expect that there was a right few good harsh words used. Hartley's never struck me as the fighting type, but he's got the mentality of a winner so doubt he'd have just went over tactics either.
