It's hardly a myth when top European clubs do it.

Don't know why it bothers you so much tbh.

What top Euro Clubs come out early for 2nd half and perform with elastic bands?

It bothers me because it seemed to play a role in an inexperienced part time manager getting the DFC gig and it hasn't had any positive impact in nearly a year

What utter drivel.

They don't come out, because they have the facilities in their changing rooms to do it. As I've said, Man United certainly used to do it under Ferguson as I seen them when I had a tour of their stadium in his last season.

You believe a half-time warm-up drill played a role in Hartley getting the job?! You at the wind-up?

Think you'll maybe find most top European clubs have warm up areas indoors that they use rather than doing it on the pitch. Maybe not the same routine but mostly they have a half time routine of some sort.

Thanks Gedee. I'm a great believer that confidentiality is vital in any employment and also that unfounded speculation can never be helpful in any situation, I'm glad an older, more level headed person agrees with that.

Also noticed you kept that post below 1,000 words so well done on that  ;)  :P

Hello my freend ..... "Also noticed you kept that post below 1,000 words so well done on that" ...... I am saving masel up for the morn.

One way or anither, I am sure (like a' body else) I will have plenty to say !!

I believe the interviews that Hartley gave to press and most likely our BOD of his 'philosophy and visions' included this and would impress some... Totally outweighing his experience and actual ability

Before Dens he had a couple of years training plumbers and joiner s twice a week and putting teams out in front of crowds of 400.

I'll prepared for games like NYD when it's coming on top and people are looking to dug out for plan B

Who would you have rather we appointed at that time?

Both Harkins and McGowan want to play in the same area of the park.  Neither is that good out wide as they provide little protection for the full backs.  It also seems that PH is intent on bringing in wide men with a view to playing 4 across midfield on a more regular basis maybe.  Of the players available I think it will be Thomson and McGowan in CM when fit and available.  It's then Stewart up front with AN Other and I think that is going to Clarkson, McDonald or Tankulic imo.  I think GGH is going to struggle to get a regular start.

I would love to see us get back to the system we had at Motherwell. Harkins linking up brilliantly with Clarkson and Stewart causing lots of problems with McGowan sitting deeper and battling for every ball. We were unplayable at times.
