Relegation Odds

Just been looking at the odds to finish bottom and I see the bookies are in agreement that Inverness, Hamilton and Motherwell are the three clubs most in danger of going down.

Motherwell have only two points from their last eight home games going back to November so maybe they have more reason than us to be worried.

Is that saying we're 10/1 to be relegated? What a steal.

EDIT: I still think we should be okay, but even still, those are generous odds.

I'm not a betting man, but if i was I'd steer clear of betting on poor teams. Too unpredictable which is why i take no comfort from tge bookies odds

I seem to remember that. In 2005 we had good win with about 4/5 games left and the bookies upped our odds to not go down. But the rest is history.

Unfortunately there is little comfort in bookies odds, Dundee like the rest of the dross at the foot of the table are in free fall and could easily end up going down.

I think these odd are for bottom of the league - I'm sure we'll be much shorter odds to go down via the playoffs.

What Cobra fails to mention, is that,we are the team that most punters are betting on. Look at Oddschecker.
