neil - yes (but out of our league) 

ravanelli (wouldn't touch with barge pole) and why do you think he is a big character? Yes in his prime he was a big name player doesn't mean he is a big character who would motivate players (as his managerial record would indicate)

I'm quite sure there'll be loads of out-of-work managers applying, and several in-work....whether the job's advertised or not.

The critical thing is getting the 'right' short term guy / duo to keep us up....then after the last game, the board can widen their net to 'outside' parties like this guy, if they wish.

Well certainly not the likes of Stubbs, Butcher, Pressley, Hughes or Locke.

Anyone of the above mentioned would show a huge lack of ambition and end up being epic failures.
