Reasoning/Thought Process

I haven't seen any of the interviews regarding the managerial appointment so apologise if I am asking the obvious but:

Was there any reasoning given by John Nelms as to why Neil McCann was deemed the right man?

Can't find it but it was detailed somewhere that McCann was in the running and one of the candidates that Keys gave a Skype interview to when Hartley was given the job last time so that indicates that they've maybe had him in mind for a wee while.

Imagine Nelms will give his own interview up somewhere soon.
