With my teenage years spent during the sixties and with heroes  such as Bob Hite and Edgar Broughton I have scant respect for convention and am no prude.  Having said that I will not miss PH conducting interviews wearing a Tammy and generally looking like a Tattiebogle.   When I watch  Rogers,  Archibald and McIntyre, among others, representing their club. I see managers demonstrating a respect for their office.

The boy looked positively destitute when he left Dens for the last time.

I was there, agree he looked gutted. Can't fault him for effort, and his heart was certainly in it, but he made an absolute James Hunt of it this season.

Appreciate his efforts, like the guy alot (Tammy and all - it's futty, not newsnight) but his time had come.

Best wishes to him.

Next time I see somebody lose their job I might go onto social media and rip them for their dress sense.

Why would you do that?

I think & hope Cookie, that although you are making a serious point, there is also a wee bit "lightness" aboot it.

Couldna help but notice, PH's attire when he appeared in front of the cameras, & on the basis o' the old saying

"Clothes maketh the Man" maybe at times he could have considered maybe cheengin' his trackie & hat even :lol2:

This comes fae a man, that is no lang oot his bed, in Auld Ragged Claes he got fae Oxfam, & is no allowed  tae go

oot wi his guid wife, unless he pit's on something that is no' only presentable. But disnae fleg the young bairns they

might meet in their short travels. Only yesterday she widnae let me go to the shops wi' her, unless eh took aff meh

auld slippers wi th holes & floppy soles.... & even pit back in meh teeth,    There again that's wimmen fir ye:chaplin:
