Now that dismal week, and generally dismal festive period, is behind is it's time to look forward to Saturday. Last time we were on a slump we managed to beat Motherwell and go on a wee run - hopefully we can do the same again.

Defensively they are a shambles and we have scored in every game bar 1. I think if we can cut out the daft defensive errors and try and keep a clean sheet, we'll win. 2nd goal is crucial if we go in front aswell. Harkins has to start for either Mcallister and Thomson. Mcpake might be out after going for a scan so it could be Konrad and Davo at the back which funnily enough was our CB pairing when we won at Fir Park.

I actually thought Davo did well on Sunday. Cleared his lines, didn't muck about with it at the back like we tend to do. I'd be inclined to start with him again on Saturday.

Is there any word on McPake since he went for a scan? Might be a risk putting the Bulgarian lad in with Konrad given his performances recently!

Really dont think Davo is good enough, he'll get away with a few games but will get caught out especially with someone like Sutton up against him?

I'd go with:

Bain..

McGinn....gadzhalov...konrad...Irvine

Harris....McGowan...Thomson...Harkins

......Stewart....tankulic

That's how I would go too Wattie.  If Saturday showed me one thing it is that Harkins must play.  Might be for 60 minutes or whatever but this is the only way I can see Harkins and McGowan playing  in the same team.

Just shows how we see it differently, I didn't think Davidson had a particularly good game. I've no idea what the new lad is like but if McPake is out it will be a loss I think. Not sure what to expect on saturday, we need points and we're getting pretty desperate for 3 but we have a habit of giving teams in need a wee hand up so......keeching it a bit but if we play like last sunday we should be alright.

Same way i seen it to be honest, I have no confidence we can keep a clean sheet at the moment so I am very worried about Sat

And me.  We might see Thomson playing the pseudo-centre half role again.  Ojamaa had Davidson on toast earlier this season imo.
