Ok lads. Fresh start, new manager, massive game! How do we think Neil will have us lined up today?

Im going to go for

               Bain

Hately odea gomis holt

Ohara Vincent McGowan Williams

            Haber Elbak

I know I know gomis back in, but I have a sneaky suspision that he will be given a chance. He certainly has all the right attributes, perhaps (hope to f**k) we will see a different attitude and application under a new manager.

Im not a big fan of hately at right back but unless he drops Ohara back there (my preference) I can see his experience counting in his favour.

Williams. Ah Danny boy. Maybe just maybe we will get to see the real player, the winger. (Maybe he can morph into a McCann ala 1994)

Up top, I think Elbak will edge it over Ojamma or Craig to partner Haber. I think his directness and goal scoring ability will see him asked to play on the shoulder and stay within the 18 yard lines where he is most dangerous.

Well that's my take anyway. Probably all wrong, but whoever pulls on the dark blue today MUST show the heart and desire that terry did as a player.

Will go through today and try to convince myself that Gomis is not the worst centre half we've had in years if he plays.

I'd be happy to go with Higgins again rather than Gomis, he's not done anything to deserve getting dropped although Gadz might get the nod now he's fit. We'll see what we get, I'm really looking forward to today, unfortunately I'll be 'dry' but hopefully I'll have something to celebrate when I get home. :D

I've a feeling that McCann might surprise people and NOT be as attack minded as folk seem to think he will be, I hope I'm wrong though. Historically attacking players who've managed here have put out defensive sides and defensive players attacking sides. Jocky and Duffy are two that immediately spring to mind.

Wouldn't say that line up was very attack minded mate, more of an old school 442

After watching us today I don't want to be too critical, a great three points today with every one doing their bit ...let's celebrate today.

Hell yeah, great sentiment Janny. As it turned out I wasn't as 'dry' as I planned, met some of the Capitals at Haymarket and got forced to drink dirty booze pre match. I can't blame them for the choo choo back right enough...today definitely required a celebration. :D
