Just watched the game on tele, and i can tell you right now,no way were we winning that under Hartley.

The difference from the accies game was massive, every player looked up for it,Bain is back!

Gomis was tackling, shouting instructions, mcgowan playing further up,Ohara in CM,Nick Ross directing play,

I could go on,even if we lost today,i couldn't complain,everybody gave 100%.

Even give Holtie his due,i've given him a fair bit of stick before, but he never hides, could end up a player yet.

First happy weekend (footy wise) in a long time. He's Blue... He's White.....:D:D:D

Just seen the 'Well second goal - waaay offside. Nae wonder Bain and Co were complaining to the linesman ffs!

Think the officials allowed it cos they wanted to even it up for the 'off the line' incident.

I paused it to check. I think he's on. O'Dea is closer to the 6yard line than Cadden.

The commentator Hugh Dan Maclennan was previously the Director of Communications at Calmac. About eight years ago he attended a Calmac meeting in Inverness and whilst driving home he was stopped and failed the breathalyser test. He complained bitterly that he had managed to drive all the way from Inverness to Dumbarton before he was stopped by the police. Goodness knows how much over the limit he was when he left Inverness. As a result of failing the breath test Hugh Dan MacLennan lost his job at Calmac and has now "shipped up" at BBC Alba.

Don't think McCann did much that Hartley wouldn't have done yesterday. Apart from Ross coming in and a couple of wee tweaks there were no real radical changes.

The main thing yesterday was confidence, especially after nicking the first goal on the stroke of h/t. The 12th man backing was also significant.

Bain being allowed to command his box was refreshing though. Overall I think you're right that confidence was maybe the key, especially Gomis who looked a lot more up for it than he has since the start of the season.

Mmm. No' sure about that Frank.

I think he's behind and in advance of O'Dea when the ball is played but, only opinions.

Agree 100% there Rev.  I was thinking after half an hour or so that the plan looked like it was to slow the game down, get to half time at 0-0 or better, then take it from there.  Maybe bring El Bak on for the last half hour and have a go.  Wouldn't have been the first time this season that would have been our plan tbh.  The difference in attitude and confidence the minute the second half started was marked.
