That's how long it took the balloon down from me in the Coxy to shout " Holt yer phucking shyte ". The fans at Dens were 1st class today, but we don't half attract some right bellends.

Every club gets them.. we're certainly no better or worse off IMO.

Not having a dig Boba but it's no consolation to me that other clubs have numskulls supporting them.

I've run out of likes, but agree wholeheartedly. Great response from all round Dens even when we lost the goal and (believe it or not), I heard very little in the way of dissenting voices from the Coxy all game!

Long may it continue and if we maintain the effort shown on the park today, good chance it will.

Holt can play like roberto Carlos and some fans will still get on his back unfortunately,I think he has had a good season. Hartlys tactics didn't help Holt one bit imo and he looks a better player under sir neil

Holt's a mentally tough lad. He was getting torn a new hole by the fans in darker times but he's come through it. I doubt the odd shout nowadays bothers him one bit.

I think it's easier for players at wee clubs like ICT, County and Accies but we demand high standards and that's maybe not a bad thing.

Boba has a point though in that it's probably a similar experience at other grounds of Scotland's bigger clubs (the likes of Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen).

TBH Cobra I doubt it would have made any impression on Holt. Maybe we expect higher standards, but to get on the lads back after 14 minutes, when he wasnt playing badly IMO, says more about the so called supporter than the player. That not expecting higher standards, thats just being an absolute t***er with an unjustified agenda about a particular player.

Wouldn't expect it to be Rev.

We'll never rid ourselves of them so we have the following options as I see it:

1. Get bent out of shape about it and let it irritate you for all time

2. Call them out at the game and create a shit storm in the stands

3. Ignore them and take solace in the fact that 99.99% of our supporters are not complete numbskulls.

4. Move seat in the hope you'll escape a belter.

It feels like every time our more critical supporters are called out on the forum, it seems to originate from the Coxy.

No OTT negativity or ridiculous shouts in the Derry this season IMO.

I don't disagree with you Skull. It's frustrating to hear those comments. I think Holt will always be a target for the minority who like a good whinge at games.

Plenty of negative/ridiculous shouts in the Derry at the St Mirren game. The only time I have been in the Derry this season so cant comment on other matches.
