The boy never stops trying and always gives 100%.

Yesterday he looked like he desperately needs a break, I can't remember him making a tackle, despite running himself into the ground.

I wonder if a midfield role is not his natural position or maybe he just needs a bit more experience.

I find that guy a real enigma. He can produce a barnstorming Lampard-esque performance and at other times be totally anonymous.

It's going to be fascinating to watch his career as I don't know if he's going to end up in a Scotland jersey or in the lower leagues.

An inspired free transfer, he could have been the player who saved Hartley's job but for some reason it didn't happen. It's still not clear whether the manager failed to make the best of him or whether he's just a player who blows hot and cold.

Looked to be breathing out his arse the last 20 odd minute. Didn't Killie play him in defence most of the time? Maybe a mixture of being out injured and needing a bit more experience has stopped him being consistent?

He'll be a big player for us next season.

He was a bit off his 'good game' yesterday, the ball seemed to keep pinging off him, rather than a controlled pass.

He has, though, endless energy & is often furthest up & furthest back within seconds. He was a couple of feet away from McGowan's 'slightly forward of square' pass across the 6 yard box at the BC end, and is often found running ahead of our front two, creating another option for whoever has the ball.

He was vital in our two away wins, and at the moment I think we can expect every third game or so to be a bit of dip from that level....but McCann kept him on all game, and seems to value his role in the side. I think McCann will improve him.

Although a 'free transfer' to help Clarke bring in all his loan signings at Killie, we did agree a 'sell on' clause, for an undisclosed but 'significant' percentage.

I'm not sure about him. I don't think he is comfortable in midfield. What about centre back? Obviously he could play right back but CK is by far the first choice there.
