Best Dee Midfielder Of the Last Quarter Century

If you could take one Dundee player (in their prime) to put in our current midfield, who would you go for?

I'm happy to add names if your No.1 choice isn't in the poll.

Hard choice. Went dariusz because he's my hero but probably should have gone Morten if I am being honest. 

Also would have had Ketsbaia in there too

Decided to go for the Great Dane myself. Georgi was wonderfully gifted but IMO he showed his quality sporadically while Wieghorst oozed class every time he walked on grass.

My choice in the 'modern era' would be John Brown.

Our midfield of Brown, Connor and Rafferty was the best there was at the time (imo)..

Chic Charnley should be in there, a player that had it all but underachieved due to his lifestyle

Kevin McDonald is another that give us a couple of great seasons

Kevin McDonald is the name that screams out me. Folk will say that he was in a lower division but the same was true for the most part with Weighorst.

Chic was a fantastic player and I agree he is worthy of being on this list. Just didn't think he was held in that high a regard by fellow Dees.

Wieghorst played in a far stronger First Division but I agree that Kev was outstanding for us. I always remember a game at Dens v Partick. A typically frustrating match watching Dundee at the time but Kev had the composure and class to rifle in a great winner at the death.

I went with Morten although if Ketsbaia had been there might have been tempted to go for him. Although I loved watching Georgi play he flattered to deceive sometime with not enough end product and taking on one man too many instead of shooting, whereas Ketsbaia was never afraid to have a shot, must admit though would have loved to see them play together.
