Virtual Overseas Season Ticket

First time I have bought the season ticket, normally pay per game but wanted to help the club up front this year. I was wondering how many exile Dees are there out there that have the virtual season tickets?

Cant wait for the new season!

I have the season ticket. Would like them to start again with the away games also. Spoke to Tommy who advised that because of some of the connections they got at away ground was poor they decided just to stop all away games. I can understand maybe Ross County / ICT maybe had bad connections but all the away games around major cities should have no issue with phone connections.

If they are maybe to busy to deal with this at away games maybe get someone else in to assist.

No too bothered about the away games to be fair but your right internet connections should be a pretty high standard as the norm now.

@dodgy_dundee - Bought the full package as I'm increasing back and forward to Holland and Spain with work, so trying it for the first time tonight.

Are there any features like a chat facility included whilst the game is on ?

I buy it purely to help the club out and my brother uses it offshore. 

Poor service tbh but Tommy makes it bearable with his effort.

I have been a long time supporter of the service and it has its good and bad points. I subscribe all year and pay around $15-$16 per month.(12 pounds)

The Good:

I get to see Dundee games from Seattle- I have lived in the states for 17 years when I was home I went most games home and away.  The first few years with without coverage was murder!!

When there is commentary it is good

No real connection problems- consistent service

DeeTV is good -interviews, replays etc

The Bad

The picture quality can be iffy- never as good as some other teams live streams (i.e. Falkirk)

Commentary is rare

No replays

I believe we could and should have a more professional package, I would  pay more if we had that. I can't believe we can't get commentary on all games, there has to be a Dundee supporter maybe someone studying media, who could do this for a small fee. Also a tie up with a college or university program could be mutually beneficial- better equipment etc.

And lastly can we set kick off to 5 pm, so I don;t have to get  out of bed on a Saturday morning at 7 am? (Just kidding!!)

Nah no chat, think I saw that paying to watch the Dee play Falkirk. For me some of the camera focusing is a bit wayward at times but other than that I think Tommy does an excellent job and always sorts out any login issues etc very quickly. Before I would just pay game to game but this season I wanted to help the club out more.

Tried it out last night, the quality wasn't that bad but somehow I got the audio out of sync (that may have been my fault though) and was getting oooohs and ahhhs as the ball was in midfield and out of play.  

The camera work I can live with and overall I think the Overseas Season Ticket is good value at £120, so I signed up. Makes me wonder too, how many 'Dees signed up for the package ?
